Thorold Legion Roof Repair

We have always been successful in sustaining our building and organization until recently when our aging roof has developed leaks. After receiving quotes on repairs, we are at the reality that we are unable to afford the necessary repairs which will total from $50,000 for partial, to over $90,000 for full repairs.

We have decided to reach out to our community for help. We hope you understand the importance of having a Legion Branch in the community and are asking for help with our roof repairs.

Our building at 3 Ormond Street South houses our clubhouse, which provides a communal space for Canadian military veterans and a gathering place for our members and guests. Our 2nd floor recreation hall is utilized for rentals and a gathering place for veteran groups and senior and youth organizations. The building and clubhouse is our sole source of income for funding our objectives and goals.
