Thor’s YWAM Discipleship Training School

So, God has a way of redirecting us sometimes at the last minute! My passport did not come in time for the visa process for Bali. So my mom, dad and I took some time to pray about it and looked at some of the other DTS's. I narrowed it down to 2 and eventually landed on Townsville, Australia. I will leave Oct 17th and return the end of March. The focus of this DTS will be children's and youth ministry which I am really excited about. My outreach will either be in Australia as well or in Papua New Guinea.

A YWAM Discipleship Training School involves a lecture phase and an outreach phase. During the DTS I will have the opportunity to work with the local youth, pray for and serve people in need and grow in evangelism and my ability to share the Gospel with others.

Unfortunately Australia cost more, the flights alone are extremely expensive.

I’m excited to pursue God’s calling for me to spread the good news of the Gospel to the people God calls me to, especially the youth. Not only will I be able to impact other’s lives, I will get the opportunity to grow in my relationship with the Lord every day.

I would greatly appreciate your prayers. Prayers for safety during travel and my stay, for health while I am away, for logistics in getting my Visa required for my stay (which I already applied for and am waiting to hear if it is approved), that I will grow in my relationship with the Lord and with the many people I will meet while there.
