Those who lost everything in the Bellefonte fire
Donation protected
Hello my name is Megan. Recently there was a major fire in Bellefonte on Friday 12/30. I set up this fundraiser for Pamela Shreffler and her daughter/family of whom resided in the house next to the apartment building. Her house suffered major damage from the fire spreading to her home from the apartment building. She also lost a great deal of belongings, furniture, appliances, ect. Alot was lost in the fire just days after Christmas and right before the new year. Everyone, including children, got out safely with just the clothes on their back and watched helplessly as their belongings and home burned to the ground.
Pam will have to find a place to reside temporarily while she waits for her house to be rebuilt which could take MONTHS. She has hefty repairs and lots of items that need replaced. She did not lose as much as her neighbors but she did lose a lot and will not get to be where she is most comfortable at, her home. Some family of hers resides far away and is only able to help so much from a distance. She is a sweet caring woman and after meeting her I feel she would do the same for her community if it had been the other way around. She said to me, “this is the hardest thing I’ve ever gone through” and I can only imagine.
A post form her daughter: https://www.facebook.com/1541527738/posts/pfbid02FLbseBAcTrX6GWCnJ7J53EM2oZCNK55J8jj2xGsFEY7AdE1uFgkEamhg3WJidrotl/?mibextid=skvcoL
Please consider taking the time to donate even just $1 or share to help those in need as we believe our community would do the same for you if you had been in this same situation.
If you'd like to donate to Denika and her family, Tashoi, and Tori, (the residents from the building next door) you can do so here:
Thank you SO SO MUCH to those who have donated to this campaign in support of Pam!! And thank you to those who have helped the others as well!! You are all blessings in this community!!
