Three Peaks Challenge for a bumblebee in Heaven

Our amazing family are joining in the fight and will complete the National Three Peaks Challenge October 7th 2023, for those who don't know what this is, lets just say it’s no easy feat. In 24 hours, they will drive 892 miles, walk 23 miles or 37km with a total ascent of 3064 metres or 10.052ft.

Join us in our fight to rid the world of NKH (nonketotic Hyperglycinemia) and make the lives of all those bumbles bees still flying and all the ones yet to come who are and will be affected, by raising funds for research for a metabolic condition so rare there is yet no cure. Lucas was just 11 months old when he took his last breath, taken away from all the people who loved him because of this horrible disease. NKH prevents the breakdown of glycine in the body leading to severe developmental delays, seizures and is life limiting. Treatment is limited and very often untreatable. Lets help find a cure in memory of our boy Lucas and all the other bumble bees in heaven.

We would also like to help and support our local baby hospice who help out so many families with babies with complex and life limiting conditions, they are truly amazing.
