For the past three years, Chanel, a sweet and loving five-year-old pup, has been battling a collapsed trachea. Despite her strength and resilience, her condition has progressively worsened. She can still breathe on her own, but every breath is a struggle. Changes in the weather, especially the summer heat, make it even harder for her, and some days, she can barely catch her breath.

I’m Tracy, and I’m helping my best friends, Tammy and Greg, give Chanel a chance to live longer. Chanel has spent countless visits at the vet, where she had to be placed on oxygen just to get relief. Tammy even got an oxygen machine at home to help her through the worst moments. But now, the only way to truly help Chanel is through a life-saving surgery, which will cost 23000.00 to place a stent in her trachea,which will allow her to breathe freely again.

What makes this even harder is that Chanel is otherwise perfectly healthy. Her heart is strong, her spirit is bright, and she still has so much love to give. She just needs this procedure to finally live without struggling for air.
