Through The Roof Theatre (TTRT) is a brand new company that focuses on passionate, dedicated and next-level performers. Our unique vision is to create a platform that blends the amateur and professional worlds in order to enhance performers’ skills and provide new creative opportunities.

We are currently setting up solid foundations so we can quickly grow and cement ourselves within the theatrical community. This will enable us to provide exciting performance opportunities to artists of all ages and levels of experience.

TTRT will regularly produce small-scale musical theatre shows that focus on: 

- Promoting new writing talents
- Introducing lesser known works to a wider audience
- Exploring current topics (LGBTQ concerns, inequality, mental health awareness, etc.)
- Reviving classic shows with new creative twists  

Although TTRT is a Warwickshire-based company, we plan to reach a much wider clientele by utilising social media and a website as an inclusive, interactive means of generating interest from a national audience. We plan to offer amateur performers the opportunity to mix with and learn from industry professionals via live and online masterclasses, interviews with industry professionals, Zoom meetings and podcasts.

Once established, TTRT also plan to support aspiring young adults by preparing them for professional training through personalised development programmes, designed to give their future careers a kick start.

We believe that theatre is essential to the mental wellbeing of both performers and audiences alike as it creates a rich community of like-minded people. Artistic expression allows people to gain confidence, connect with others and find their place in the world. Our online presence and strong ethos mean we can provide support and hope to performers across the UK during this time of uncertainty.   

This fundraising drive will allow the company to kick start in a seamless way by:

- Giving us first-step financial flexibility
- Purchasing professional equipment
- Securing a financial pot for our first 2022 major project
- Allowing us to access necessary marketing platforms
- Paying off initial start-up costs

We are looking to reach our financial goal by September 2021. With your help, we’ll be able to focus our time solely on company development and success.
