Help Bring Coco Home

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
My name is James, and I am reaching out to you during a profoundly difficult time for my family and me. My beloved dog, Coco, was seized on February 12, 2025, under the Dangerous Dogs Act. This has been an incredibly distressing experience for us all.
As a responsible dog owner, I have always complied with the law and ensured that Coco is safe when we are out—I consistently walk him on a lead with a muzzle, fearing the consequences of anything else. Unfortunately, an unexpected incident occurred on October 10, 2024. While Coco and I were out for a walk, two small dogs came out of the estate where I live came towards him barking and acting aggressively, and began to antagonize him. In a moment of panic, Coco slipped his muzzle and went toward them. Although I quickly retrieved him, a small cut was inflicted on one of the dogs, possibly from his muzzle.
Despite my best efforts to maintain safety and control, Coco was seized as a result of this incident, and my heart is shattered. The absence of Coco has deeply affected our family—especially my other dog, Luna. She has been grieving her companion and has become ill, leading to multiple vet visits that continue to strain us emotionally and financially.
We are now facing court proceedings and the costs associated with assessments necessary to bring Coco home safely. This is where we are hoping for your support. Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to us and will go directly toward legal fees and the resources needed to reunite us with our precious boy.
I am at my wit's end, feeling helpless without Coco by my side. The love and companionship he brings to our family cannot be measured, and I fear for what may happen if we cannot bring him home.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story. Your generosity and support can make a significant impact, and we are immensely grateful for any assistance you can provide in bringing Coco back where he belongs.
With heartfelt thanks,
James and Family
