Memorial Fund for Tiabi Rauf & Haqq Family

On January 8, 2022, my wonderful wife of 15 years was taken to the emergency room for a headache.To our disbelief, a brain tumor was responsible. Two days later, the doctors operated on 1/10/22 to remove the tumor. As Tiabi's condition improved we hoped and prayed for the best. However on 2/2/22, we were told that it was cancer, a rare form of brain cancer with only 15,000 diagnoses a year, Glioblastoma. In the same breath, we were also told that the surgery was a success and almost nothing remained of the tumor, praise be to God. To date our medical bills have exceeded $278,000 dollars and mounting. Tiabi began radiation on 2/22/22. Since then, Tiabi has returned to the hospital twice due to seizures and the growth of more lesions on the brain (3/8). This resulted in a change of treatment with a more intense radiation schedule. As of Friday 3/18, Tiabi is home and the doctors are very amazed at how she has responded to treatment so far. She is under palliative care awaiting the next scan after 4 weeks. We are praying for good results. In the meantime, by the grace of God, Tiabi fights. She is battling brain cancer and we want to give her all the support and resources necessary for the battle. Tiabi is an entrepreneur, exceptional cook, beloved mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, and dear friend. She has the sweetest soul and is the very pulse of our family of 9 children (7 sons and 2 daughters). Tiabi is the most giving, affectionate, colorful, funny, intelligent and courageous woman. She will become her strongest warrior yet as she braves this battle.Tiabi needs and deserves the very best health care, which includes traditional, non-traditional and experimental treatments and therapies, in-patient rehabilitation, transportation, nutrition, around-the-clock care and an endless list of related expenses. I need your help to give her the best shot possible to beat this disease. By now, I am sure you who are reading this understand that the bills are already mounting their defense against us.
