Tibbett's Family 100 Year Bensalem Flood Tragedy

Our hearts are heavy as one of our agents (Francine and Russ Tibbetts) from Berkshire Hathaway Fox & Roach Southampton Office and children were gravely impacted by the Bensalem 100 Year Flood that hit the area unexpectedly on July 12th. Their family was devastated as they watched the water pouring into their home's basement and first floor - all of which felt like a nightmare. There was not time to react or save any personal belongings as the water blew out the lower level windows and rushed in like an angry river! To make things worse, they are not covered through their insurance company as this is rated an "Act of God", Furthermore, they do not have flood insurance as they have never been physically located in a flood zone before this event. Their fully finished basement was completely flooded and they have lost everything on this level including the hot water heater, HVAC unit, walls, flooring, furniture and personal belongings. The first floor sunroom and den are destroyed as well. And if this is not enough, their car is totalled as the water level reached the engine! The cost just to remediate the water and mold has already come in upwards of $10,000. This family needs your help and ask for any help you can give... no amount is too small! They will be forever greatful as this is a tragedy that will bankrupt them and the stress is taking a huge toll on the family. Thank you again for any help you can give!
