Ti Ti, Mommy's Space Baby
Donation protected

We are asking for prayers and help for a grieving family and mother.
Tiberius was born 1/15/24. He was eagerly awaited by his aunt, his mommy, his cousin, and his big siblings. Tiberius gave his mother a scare when he came into this world almost silently. Aunty reassured mommy the baby was breathing, and trying to look around, he just wasn't crying. And that was who Tiberius was. He was calm, he was sweet, he was curious. He was his mother's first son, and she had waited a long time to welcome him to this world.
His mother and family had 9 months of pregnancy, and 6 days of life outside the womb with Tiberius. He was named after Captain James Tiberius Kirk, and his mama was so excited to teach him about space, the cosmos, and the vastness of the Universe around him. He was his mother's little "space baby" and his family themed his outfits and welcoming gifts around this. Now the space baby's soul is exploring all the things his mother wanted to spend a lifetime teaching him about.
In the wake of this tragedy, his mother is left very broken and is struggling with the most basic daily tasks. Tiberius was so young, and her body is still healing from his birth and wanting to care for him. This is something no mother should ever have to go through. The circumstances around Tiberius' sudden death have changed every aspect of her life, and all the plans she had to take care of herself and her children while on maternity leave have had to suddenly change as well. Tiberius has 2 older sisters who still need their Mom to make it through this.
The mother cannot yet return to work as she is still healing from the c-section, and now grieving her infant son as well. Despite this, she has been trying to force herself to doordash to make some income but it is not enough to keep the family afloat. She cannot do this for long stretches of time because of the c-section, she can only physically manage a couple of orders a day.
The costs for Tiberius' end of life care are covered, but that leaves her with very little left to take care of herself and her remaining children. She has already fallen behind on a couple of small bills during this, but her rent is due very soon and a critical expense so that they do not wind up facing an eviction as well in their time of grief. Anything past what is needed for supporting the mother and her remaining children will be added to Tiberius' end of life plans to make them more special and healing to the family.
At the moment the family has what they need in terms of physical needs, but we are asking for financial support while she navigates the next steps. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated and help lift the burden this mother is carrying so that she can take the time to grieve and not be injured further by trying to work too early after surgery and during this tragedy.
Tiberius was the sweetest boy, the bestest boy, Mommy's boy. Always and forever.
