Tibial and Fibula Fracture
Donation protected
On September 17, Kelly was playing a volleyball tournament in Wendover. She was going up to block against a girl twice her height and size. When they both came down the girl stepped over the line under the net which caused her to step on Kelly’s foot causing her to land and break her tibial and fibula bone. The ambulance and firefighters were called and then was life flighted into the University of Utah. She had surgery September 18 at 7 am and had to have a rod and screwed placed in to stabilize the bone so that it may heal properly. Her recovery is going to be anywhere around 3-8 months.
Kelly is a hardworking, dedicating girl who sees so much good in people. She gives so much love and light to people and is a leader to her team. She is the a strong, independent woman who has been so positive throughout this journey.
Kelly loves being a social butterfly and helping people so I think it’s time we returned the favor. Kelly’s family would love help with the medical bills and expenses that are about to pile up. It would be deeply appreciated if you could donate as much as you can so that Kelly’s family can relieve some pressure and stress to focus on Kelly’s recovery.
With much love,
