Tibial Hardware Removal Surgery

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Ashley Carter and I am raising funds to help cover the cost of a hardware removal surgery scheduled for May 12th. In February of last year, I shattered my tib/fib in a ski accident and needed a good amount of hardware put in (4 plates and 20sih screws). I had 2 surgeries and spent 10 days in the hospital. After more than a year of recovery, physical therapy, seeing a psychologist, and the support of my friends & family it is time to have all the hardware removed. While the surgery is not an emergency need it is necessary to relieve the daily pain, discomfort, and movement restrictions from my leg/knee. Unlike the first emergency surgery and the second surgery to
put in all the hardware, I am required to pay my part before they will perform the surgery. If you've met me you know I thrive when I get to spend my days in the outdoors, playing sports, and dancing as much as possible. This surgery will help me continue the forward motion of recovery and get back to enjoying all the parts of life I have been missing. Thank you in advance for any and all support! Here is a video that shows the extent of the original injury- injury video and here is a video of the year journey in a nutshell:
