Hi everyone!!! 

My sister in law has had one hell of a day and frankly, a year. She had just moved into her apartment in July after an incredibly difficult year and an accidental fire began in the kitchen around 6pm yesterday. The kitchen is absolutely destroyed and a bit of the dining room. Thankfully, she is safe. She is going to be staying with myself and her brother/my partner, Joël until she has a new kitchen.

Additionally, she runs a small business from her home and she lost some of her products she made that would have been sent out to customers in the coming days. We would like to make sure we have enough to cover damage fees, replacements, and loss of income from the orders that cannot be sent out now.

Unfortunately, insurance didn’t come on time and we are asking for some assistance paying for replacing her belongings and any damages that will need to be paid to the apartment company. The scary part is that the smoke detector didn’t go off and we are thankful she knew something was wrong before the fire spread to the rest of her unit and her neighbour’s units.
