My name is Mark Bowman. I am Tiffany's father. Two years ago almost to to the day, Tiffany was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma cancer. She started chemo and infusions, which held the cancer in check, for a while. She was in a remission and the outlook was good. Something went wrong. The day after her birthday, July 17, Tiffany was rushed to the hospital where they discovered a large tumor in her brain. The cancer had grown stronger. She had a successful operation to remove the tumor. She was referred to The Fred Hutchingson cancer center in Seattle, where they immediately begin to treat her. She had over a dozen tumors in her brain. Everything was tried to shrink the tumors, but they refused to go away. Tiffanny was experiencing terrible pain in her back. The cancer had exploded into the spinal cord and kidneys. After some pain relief and many trips to FH, she was admitted to The University of Washington Medical Center. The doctors told us she could not recover from this onslaught of cancer. It was not responding to the treatments. They told us that death was imamate. Her family and friends came to say goodbye. I took her son Zayden to see his mother for the last time. She awoke briefly from her sleep, even though she was heavily sedated, smiled at Zayden, kissed him and told him she loved him. She went back to sleep and never woke up.
Tiffany passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 24, 2023. She was mother to Zayden, sister to her twin Megan and brothers Benjamin and Shawn. Daughter to Ria Bernard and Mark Bowman. She was 37.
As a family we have exhausted our resources and need help with her final expenses. Any donation is greatly appreciated for the kindness and love shown to our daughter. All proceeds go to her final expenses. Anyone who knew her, loved her for her great positive spirit and overwhelming kindness.
Thank you all for your support in this time of great sadness.
Sincerely
Tiffany's family.
