I am sure that everyone is familiar with the tragic accident that occurred on I35 Thursday morning, February 11, 2021. Our legal community lost one of our own in the accident. Tiffany Gerred worked for the Tarrant County District Clerk's office for the 360th District Court. Tiffany was known by many of us to be kind, patient, and always willing to help. It is our turn to return the favor!
Many have already asked how they can help. The Tarrant County Family Law Bar has created this gofundme fund to collect donations for Tiffany's daughter and family; to help cover whatever expenses they may have now, and to help provide for her daughter in the future.
My name is Jill Johnston and I am the current treasurer for the Tarrant County Family Law Bar Association. TCFLBA is a voluntary association of lawyers, Judges, Associate Judges, legal assistants, court coordinators and other professionals who strive to improve the practice of family law in Tarrant County. I have spoken to Tiffany's family and made them aware that our legal community has created this fund in her memory. As the treasurer of TCFLBA I will be withdrawing the funds to my personal bank account and transferring them to the Tarrant County Family Law Bar Association's checking account - after which a check will be written from the TCFLBA bank account to Tiffany Gerred’s family. We will deliver one hundred percent of the funds raised by this campaign to Tiffany's mother, Cindy Gerred.
In my experience the Tarrant County legal community has always been a loyal and supportive group. Let's come through one more time for Tiffany and her family.
