Tiffany Townsend: A Heartfelt Request for her Services

Hello. My name is Samantha; most know me as Sam. I've never done this before, so please bear with me. I have been asked by the family of my childhood/lifelong best friend, Tiffany Nicole Townsend, to create a GoFundMe account to assist with her funeral and memorial service expenses following the inhumane act of another. To know Tiff was to love her, like wholeheartedly love her from the moment you met her. She was the true definition of being as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. She was a stunning person with the absolute kindest, caring, most giving heart. Her personality? Hilarious, to say the least. She kept you on your toes for sure, and would have you laughing until your cheeks hurt. She never met a stranger, and if she did, they weren't a stranger for long. She could befriend anyone! There was never a dull moment with her. When she loved you, she loved you hard; you were family. No "if's, ands or buts" about it.. And that meant her family loved you just the same with open arms, no questions asked. Believe me, I know—we were inseparable for years! <3 Through Tiffany, I met some of the most wonderful people and my heart aches for everyone in this situation! Especially her kids.

Tiffany was the proud mother of 4 beautiful children: Larissa, Dalton, Tristan (gone but never forgotten), and Evan. Her kids now have to learn to adapt to a loss most adults can't fathom having to endure—the loss of their mother—and this loss was the week before Christmas. As you may now know, given the publications, Tiffany's life was taken by the hands of another; a person she loved and thought loved her in return; a person her children and family met; a person that has a child of his own. That person, Derrick Dempsey, decided to commit domestic violence during an argument, and instead of walking away following said act, returned with a shotgun and pulled the trigger with no regard or concern for Tiffany, her children, her family, or her friends. He then fled the scene and is now in custody (praise God). Given this unforeseen and unexpected loss, the family would like to ask for ANY donations (no matter how big or small) to assist with laying Tiffany peacefully to her eternal resting place, and so the kids can have a proper memorable service for their mother's unfortunate passing. They would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to anyone able to donate. We know times are hard right now for everyone, so anything is greatly appreciated. The current goal is $1,500. ALL donations will be given directly to Lisa Rageth (grandmother of Tiffany's children) and Michelle Dettlings ("Aunt Chell" - Tiffany's aunt), who I KNOW will have all funds invested into the memorial services, and should anything be left over, have that amount distributed into accounts for Tiffany's children. I wanted to voice this about the $ distribution because I have seen these accounts being used for improper reasons. But I know this family; I know where their heart is with this; I have absolute trust in their word. I've known them what feels like my whole life. If not, I wouldn't be doing this (hence, my first time doing a GoFundMe). Please, if you can help, I beg you do. I'm not one to ask for help, but in this instance, I am. Tiff deserves a proper service, and her kids deserve a last remembrance of their mother and her life as well.
