Pay back Carole Baskin so I can get my life back!

Donation protected
Hey, everybody, this is Joe Exotic. I am sitting in prison right now and writing this through my lawyer John Phillips. For those of you who have seen Tiger King, you know only part of my story. In 1999, my family opened The Garold Wayne Exotic Animal Memorial Park in honor of my brother, who was killed in a drunk driving incident. A year later, I got a call from a game warden asking me if I would take in two abandoned tigers. They were named Tess and Tickles. We became one of the largest sanctuaries for exotic animals in the country. Inspired by people in the industry who worked with these animals to educate, we began to exhibit at local malls and other locations. Eventually, Carole Baskin started following us, teamed up with P.E.T.A., hired a PR team, and well, the rest is @$&#!%! history.

We began fighting back on my television show and I tried to make a parody of her company logo and found myself paying more for trademark lawyers than l ever imagined possible. I agreed to a settlement with a $1 million judgment, thinking I’d be able to pay it off in installments or figure something else out. Everywhere I turned, there were more lawyers. Even when we handed over assets like the park, the animals or the vehicles on property, she’d tack on legal fees, so we’d owe her more. My house, my property, my livelihood were all taken. We still don’t even know how much we owe her because she has taken so much without even handing over an accounting.

I leaned on some people to help me and they @$&#!%! stabbed me in the back. It turned out my own niece was working with the Lowes and federal agents for “years and years” to get me arrested. Since my trial, multiple friends and family members have provided evidence to my attorneys showing I was not guilty of murder for hire. It was all a plan to get rid of me. Here I sit, awaiting the new chance to tell my story and finally find freedom. Tiger King 2 tells part of that story.

Since going to prison, my parents have died, my friends have died, and my marriage has failed. My partner even sold my clothes to random people. My park belonged to Jeff Lowe and then Carole Baskin and now someone else. I will walk out of prison with the clothes on my back, a $1 million judgment against me and no home or clothes. My health is deteriorating, and I was recently diagnosed with cancer and prison has not been kind. I want to talk about prison reform and how the animal industry destroys human and animal lives, alike. I want a fresh start.

Simply put, I cannot get a fresh start until I pay @$&#!%! Carole Baskin back. This fundraiser is set up to pay off Carole Baskin’s / Big Cat Rescue’s judgment against me to give me a fresh start.  Once I pay that off, then I will use any additional funds raised to (1) buy back my old property and build a community ballpark where the zoo used to be, in memory of my brother and the others we dedicated the zoo to (more info about that here ) (2) give  to a charity like Operation Smile or some true tiger conservation efforts. It’s not for my legal fees or medical bills, as the folks at $TKING coin have helped set up a way for me to pay for that. My lawyer, John M. Phillips, will put these funds in a trust account. He’s not taking a dime of this money. It’s to give me a fresh start.

Please help.
