Tigers End of Life & Memorial Costs
Donation protected
If you don't already know - Tony's birthday is this Friday, July 14th - and all Tony wants for his Birthday this year is to spend it with his best bud - Tiger.
Tiger is experiencing Liver Failure & has spent several nights hospitalized while undergoing pancreas tests, ultrasounds, bloodwork, IV fluids, and pain meds & ensuring he is being administered the proper care he needs to get better - which has run up a cost of close to $4,700
**The costs were extra high** - as we had to take him to an *emergency* clinic when he was in near critical condition Saturday morning & had to spend several nights in the ER. His condition was so critical the vet told us Humane Euthanasia was a viable option.
Everyone with a pet knows when emergencies like these arise - money can be made again, but the bond you’ve created with your pal, and the love fostered between you two is priceless, and most of us would try to save our babies. (To make this story even sweeter, Tiger was a street Cat that chose Tony as his protector, guardian & family.)
If you relate to the above sentiment- I’m sure you can relate to the feeling of financial insecurity that comes with dropping 1+ months pay at one time. To be clear; Tony has already paid for all care costs upfront. The intent is to help lessen the burden of having a hole that big in your pocket from an emergency expense most of us couldn't say "No" to.
Financial Insecurity evokes questions like:
"If I had to move tomorrow, would I be able to put down first/last/security deposit on a place?"
"Would I be able to replace my tire tomorrow to continue working safely if it were to blow out?
"Would I be able to jump on a flight home if a loved one needed me tomorrow?"
We want to keep Tony in a positive mind state, feeling secure & supported by his incredible network of friends, as he celebrates his birthday. Instead of getting Tony a T-shirt, or another small gift - please consider instead, contributing to this campaign intended to lessen the burden of Tigers emergency care.
In my short year of knowing Tony - I have seen him first-hand offer help to many without question or any needed explanation. Let's show him the same support- because asking for it is never easy.
Upfront costs were not the main priority - Tiger was & will be with whatever meds or surgery he needs in the future to maintain a long healthy life & continue bringing joy/snuggles to everyone that enters Tony's home.
