TIGIST TILAHUN

Hi everyone , I am coming to you to ask your help for my sister / childhood friend and family Tigest Tilahun who I grew up with in Addis Ababa. She has gone through so much loss in her life. She lost her high-school sweet heart, husband and the father of her children while he was teaching in Tigray. After she buried him, she came to stay with her mom to raise her 2 daughters but lost her mother shortly there after. But she never gave up and stayed strong while raising her children but sadly lost one of her daughters in an accident. Through all the adversity. She never stopped smiling and is always the first to offer her help for those who needed it.

I visited ethiopia this past June and had a chance to visit her. What I saw was heart breaking. She could barely walk properly and I initially joked with her and said "I guess we're getting old". She expressed she was in pain and I asked her to get it checked. Surely enough she did and found out she had stage 3 pancreatic cancer.

I know God will have the last word on her fate but I believe it's worth helping her out while we can. I rather help while she's here then cry after she's gone. This is out of character for me to come publicly and ask for help but I needed to do something just to give her a little hope to keep pushing.

I am asking all of you to please help with what you can so she can continue to focus and get her chemo therapy. Thank you in advance. Those of you who know my number, please don't hesitate to call or text me.

አብሮ አደግ እህቴ ነች ጥሩ የልጅነት ጊዜ አብረን አሳልፈናል አበረን በልተን አብረን ተጫውተን ያደግን አብሮአደግ እህቴ ነች። ትዕግስት ጥላሁን ትባላለች በወጣትነት እድሜዋ ነበር አግብታ ሁለት ልጆች የወለደችው ገና በወጣትነቷ የትዳር አጋሯ የልጆቿ አባት በድንገተኛ ህመም በሞት ተለያት ልጆቿን ይዛ እናቷ ቤት በመመለስ ልጆቿን ለማሳደግ ብቻዋን ደፋ ቀና ማለት ተያያዘችው ኑሮ ለእሷ በጣም ከባድ ነበር ቢሆንም በእናቷ ፀሎት በእሷ ብርታት ትንሸ ቀና ስትል በድጋሜ አይዞሽ በርች የምትላት እናቷን በሞት ተናጠቀች ቀና ያለችው እህቴ በድጋሜ ልቧ ተሰብሮ ለብቻዋ በመልፋት ልጆቿን ለማሳደግ ትለፋ ጀመረች። የልጆቿን ማደግ በማየት ነገን ተስፋ በማድረግ እየኖረች እራሷን እያበረታች እየኖረች ባለችበት ወቅት የመጨረሻ ልጆን በሞት ተነጠቀች። እህቴ ቀና ባለች ቁጥር በሀዘን ወደኃላ ብትመለስም ይሄ ግን ከምትቋቋመው በላይ ሆነባት እህቴ ተሰብራ ቀረች የውስጧ ሀዘን ከባድ የሆነ የስኳር በሽተኛ እንድትሆን አደረጋት። በሀዘን የተሰበረ ልቧን ይዛ ለቀረችው አንድ ልጇ ስትል ቀና እያለች ባለችበት ወቅት በቆሽት ካንሰር በሽታ ታመመች። የካንሰር በሽታ በእኛ ሀገር ገና እየታወቀ ያለ እንደመሆኑ መጣን በበቂ ህክምና ሁኔታ ማግኘት በጣም ከባድ እና በጣም ውድ መሆኑ ምክንያት እህቴ ህክምና ለማግኘት በጣም ተቸግራለች እና እህቴን ገና ለመኖር ልትጀምር ነው እባካችሁ እህቴን አርዱልኝ።
