Tigray Relief

Did you know that there has been a war going on in Tigray for the past 2+ years? As a first-generation Tegaru-American, my family was born and raised in Tigray, Ethiopia. So, when I first heard about the war going on in Tigray, naturally I was shocked because I have so many relatives who live there. But as the war continued, I was even more surprised by the fact that little to no one knew what was going on. I knew I had to do something to help the displaced people of Tigray, who were being brutally murdered by the Ethiopian government; the same government who was supposed to help them. About 800,000 people have died in Tigray, a region with a little over 5 million inhabitants. Join me in my fight for justice! All the proceeds collected from this GoFundMe page will go directly to Free Tigray, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping those in Tigray most affected by the war.
