Tilfas Family Crisis Fund

On Saturday, February 11, 2017, a local Kent family was driving on Pacific Hwy when the driver of a stolen vehicle ran a red light and hit the passenger side. The impact killed the mother of three Kent students on impact and severely injured their 8th grade daughter.  Emily is in stable condition and has recently undergone her fifth surgery since the accident. 

The driver of their car was their dad, Avery Tilfas, who was also injured in the accident. This is an amazing family going through the unimaginable.  The parents have been devoted and invested in raising three wonderful kids.  Kun (6th grade), Emily (8th grade) and RJ (11th grade) are three intelligent, respectful, fun and loving young individuals that need our love and support. 

The father is currently at Emily’s bedside 24/7 and has been since the accident. They have incurred high medical bills, funeral costs, and a loss of income. As a community, we need to band together for this amazing family and give them a tremendous amount of love and support. If you are able to donate anything at all big or small…it all adds up.
