Tilly needs an operation to close a liver shunt

Hi I am Helen and I own Tilly my gorgeous Miniature Schnauzer who has recently been diagnosed with a liver shunt at 5 years old.

This means her liver is being bypassed by a blood vessel and therefore is not filtering the toxins out of her blood and in turn this then makes her very poorly and if left unoperated on will be life limiting.

My insurance cover for Tilly has covered all of the investigations and a CT Scan. However, is not enough to cover the life saving operation that is now required for her to live a full and pain free life. Which is why I have created this fund raiser in the hope I can raise the money required.

I would never have thought i would have to do something like this, but seeing Tilly unwell is heart breaking when I know this situation could be solved if only I could afford the operation myself. I am sure as dog owners and pet lovers you understand how I am feeling.
