Tim and Jessi are Adopting, Again!
Donation protected
We are Tim and Jessi and we are so excited bring you into our adoption story.
We were married in 2011 and soon after found out that we are not able to have children the normal way. You see, Tim is a childhood cancer survivor and the treatment which (thank God and modern medicine) saved his life, left us able to parent biological children.
So, after a few years and a lot of prayer we opened ourselves up to adoption and we leaned on friends and family and acquaintances... and friends of friends and family and acquaintances to help us to afford the process. We are both teachers and it would take years of saving to be able to afford the expense of adoption... We were beyond blessed to be able to bring our lovely daughter home with us in 2015.
Four years later, we are hoping to adopt again. Our little girl will be such a great big sister and we would like more than anything for our children to have siblings.
We have been #CHOSEN by an expectant momma to be her child's parents. AND SHE IS DUE IN LESS THAN TWO WEEKS
We stepped out a little bit in faith to say "yes" to this adoption situation and we would be so grateful for your generous support in any of the following ways:
1) Will you pray for us? Adoption is so beautiful, but it is also very hard. A child has to lose a family in order to gain one. A person who places her child for adoption, is making the most difficult decision of her life, and the adoptive couple are there to support both, come what may.
2) Will you contribute to our adoption fund? If you have contributed to our adoption fund--THANK YOU! We literally could not do this (at least not for a long time) if it wasn't for you. We promise that all of the funds we raise will go to the fees directly associated with the adoption.
3) Will you share our story and this GoFundMe with your friends and family? Every little bit goes a long way to helping us bring Baby C home!
Finally, we thank you. So much. We are unbelievably blessed and could never have imagined what a blessing adoption has been and we hope will be again to us.
