Tim Buckland Cancer Treatment

Hello my name is Barb. In February, my son-in-law Tim discovered a lump in his neck that eventually was diagnosed as squamous cell carcinoma. His doctors believe the cancer started from somewhere else in his body. He had scopes done, CT scan and PET scan, finding nothing. In March, Tim underwent surgery in his mouth and throat with hopes of finding the source of the cancer. The results again were negative.

Moving forward, he will need to have radiation for 7 weeks, 5 days a week, with chemotherapy once per week.

As many of you may know, Tim is a self-employed painter and spring is now the start of his busy season and he will be unable to work during this time of treatment. His wife and my daughter Mandi, is his primary care taker who has been and will continue to take him to each appointment and treatment.
