Tim "Chappy" Chapman's Charge Forward

Our son, brother and friend, Tim Chapman is going to be fighting a battle with artery disease and possible amputation.
Tim is 56 years old. He’s funny and charismatic. He loves his announcing jobs, voice overs, running and waterskiing, watching sports and just hanging with friends.
In October, 2021, Tim started feeling a tingling and cold sensation in his left foot. After several trips to the doctor, his left big toenail was removed due to an infection. But, several weeks later, he was not feeling any relief and the toe wasn’t healing. He has a CT scan and determined that he had a blockage just below his knee. After a failed attempt at an angioplasty, he was told he may have Buerger’s disease or another form of artery disease that and nothing would help other than amputation.
The family got together and researched several options and other providers. Today, Tim is at UCSD Medical Center in surgery to have his big toe, and possibly his foot or leg amputated. While Tim has medical insurance to assist with these visits, there are several other needs he is going to have moving forward. Some of these include medical devices, making alterations to his living environment, meal delivery and much, much more.
Tim will be unable to work for quite some time, and we all know that disability doesn’t pay much. If there is anything you can do to assist, it would be greatly appreciated.
I will post updates as I know more. Thank you everyone!
