Tim Dougherty

As most of you know, on Wednesday night, we lost a beautiful soul. Tim suffered a heart attack a few weeks ago and has been in the hospital fighting for recovery since. We all know that Tim is a fighter, stubborn even, and would not give up easily. Especially if it meant leaving behind the people he loved most in the world. His absence will leave a huge hole in all our hearts and lives.

With his carefree, I don’t give a fuck attitude, his presence in a room was always known. If you know him, you knew how strongly opinionated he was and that it was favorite to be right, especially to let you know he was right. Even during his disagreements, his strong sarcasm was always sure to make you laugh. He had this amazing ability to make you feel like no time had passed every time you saw him. By far, his most admirable trait was his love for his family. The way he provided and took care of his daughters, grandchildren and Paula was admirable to anyone who witnessed it.

If you know the Doughertys, you how selfless they can be. They are the type to give help, but never easily accept it in return. So obviously, this gofundme was not their idea and took a lot of convincing. They would never want to burden anyone, especially financially, but the last thing they should have to deal with during this difficult time is any financial hardships. I know this is a hard time for everyone, but truly a little goes a long and any help is greatly appreciated.
