Tim Eisner Memorial Fund for Student Campers

In 1981, Tim Eisner sent his oldest daughter, Lanette, off to Hume Lake Christian Camps for the first time. She came home and couldn't stop talking about the fun she had and how special Hume was for her in what she learned there. Son and daughter, Kenny and Trisha followed in the next years and also have very fond memories of going to Hume Lake for summer and winter camps with their youth group. Tim enjoyed listening to his children sing camp songs all the way home when he picked them up.
We did not know, when we were younger, that our Dad would go to our Pastor, ask how many children needed a sponsor, ... and he would write the check. He knew how much of an effect Hume Lake had on us and our friends each time we went up the mountain, and thought more children should have that same opportunity.
Dad had a special place in his heart for reaching youth and giving them an opportunity to make life changing decisions, like we did growing up, and attending Hume Lake Christian Camps. We want to be able to honor him by continuing that legacy and hope to raise enough to sponsor a number of children through our home churches, in Bakersfield and in Coarsegold, CA to go to camp and hope that you might like to be included in honoring him in this way.
