Tim is leaving the Teeter!

If you go to the little Teeter at Glenwood Village, you know Tim. He told me last week that he is leaving our Harris Teeter and transferring to one in Wilson. He has been traveling 45 minutes each way to and from work. The one in Wilson is located only nine minutes away from his home.

Tim has been helping me with my groceries since my children were little. They are now in college. Every day, Tim is out there helping anyone and everyone he can. He asks about your day and your family. Tim has prayed for my children and me as I have for him and his family. He kept a close eye on my daughter when she would buy gum by the truckloads and always gave me a full report of her recent purchase.

Tim shows up. He shows up when the CAT bus is running late. He shows up in the rain, the snow and the heat. He shows up with a positive attitude and a warm smile every day.

The support you all have shown is unbelievable! I do not think Tim has ever realized what a tremendous impact he has made in our community. He is what is right in this world. There will never be another one like him!

Now, it is our turn as we show up for Tim! Please help us surprise him on Tuesday, the 13th, at 8:30 PM as he finishes his last shift at the little Teeter. We will gather in the parking lot. Bring a balloon, a note or a giant hug to send him on his way!
