A while back, my friend Tim, an elected member of the city council was accused of defamation. Tim has dedicated much of his time and spirit to representing Davenport’s fifth ward. He’s a champion for those who are often overlooked and under resourced. Legal council is expensive, and I hope they you’ll consider lending him a hand. Trust me, if the shoe was on the other foot, he’d be the first to loosen his laces. I hope you’ll consider standing with Tim, so that he can afford to continue attending to and representing the people who sent him to city hall to stand up for them.
