Tim Koestler

Tim Koestler is a retired firefighter and EMT. He was a firefighter for 46 years and EMT for 20 years. Tim was a member of Suffern Hook & Ladder, Bloomingburg Fire Company and Summitville Fire Company (past chief & EMT). After all those years of helping others and selflessly dedicating his time, he needs your help.

Recently Tim was diagnosed with Stage 3 Small Cell Carcinoma Lung Cancer, the tumor is the size of a lemon and is inoperable. The doctors have said that there is a 50/50 chance that the chemo and radiation will shrink and/or destroy the tumor. Prior to that unexpected diagnosis, Tim needed bypass surgery on his legs, but that was delayed due to a pneumonia diagnosis- which led to severe breathing issues that brought him to the ER, where they found the tumor.

Through all of that Tim tried to continue helping his customers with their plumbing problems. But, having trouble walking and breathing made it difficult for him to work. So now Tim is unable to work. Tim's wife, Lori, is still working full time and also has an elderly mother living with them to care for. And yet, Lori is keeping her spirits up and her attitude positive.

I'm asking for any help for them to make ends meet...anything helps.
