Tim Love Needs Our Support!

We’re Danielle & Stephanie, owners of Local Roots Coffee.

This year we celebrate 6 years across the street from Tim & Sandi Love of Love That Music. From the day we opened, they’ve supported us in our daily business, personal lives, & growing professional lives. Whether we were celebrating or struggling, they were there for us. We’ve gotten to witness all of the people in town who’ve also been supported by Tim & Sandi throughout their lives, some beginning as children getting their very first musical instrument & coming full circle to taking their children to get their first musical instrument in the same place. They’ve supported all of their customers turned musicians through their journeys of making music their passion. Getting to witness just how many lives they’ve touched over the years has been a true testament to the people that they are & the business they’ve built. We love them so much for all the support they’ve given us, and now they need our help.

Tim has recently been diagnosed with cancer of the tongue, which has spread into the lymph nodes of his neck. He has an unfortunately long road ahead of surgeries, therapies & treatments and with this as we all know, come with multiple appointments and incredible costs. His speech is rapidly going, and while he’s attending to his health he won’t be able to attend to his store himself like he has over the last two decades. After undergoing a hip replacement recently as well, The Loves have had a rough road to travel, and you would never know it if you caught them on the street. It’s hard enough to own a small business, especially in the last few years, and it’s extra impossible to undergo any form of sickness while being self employed. We want to make this burden as bearable as possible for them this time, and we know with the amount of lives they’ve touched over the years this should be easy to accomplish.
