Tim Patten Medical Emergency

Hi Everyone!

My Name is Molly and I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of my Step-father, Tim Patten of Northport.

Tim has had some underlying issues for a few years with diverticulitis and has been hospitalized in the past.

Several weeks ago Tim started to get sick and have some complications from this illness. On Sunday Nov 20th Tim went to the Waldo County General Hospital emergency department and was admitted that day. Over the past few weeks Tim has been diagnosed with Crohns disease, and anyone who is familiar with Crohns knows how debilitating it can be and that there is no cure.

Tim has not been able to improve over the past 17 days of being inpatient at WCGH and is looking to be moved to a larger and better equipped facility, hopefully today.

While my parents do have some insurance, it is not going to come close to covering all the cost associated with this hospitalization.

Tim has been out of work for 3 weeks and will not be returning soon.

Medical bills and household bills pile up quickly.

I am hoping this fundraiser will help alleviate some stress associated with these sorts of situations.

We really appreciate everyone's thoughts and prayers and we are hopeful that Tim will be home in time to celebrate his newest grandsons first Christmas.
