Tim Pearson Memorial Prairie

Donation protected
Tim Pearson, beloved husband, father and friend, suddenly passed away Saturday, April 4th. Tim was known and loved by so many.

Some of you may know that Tim was an avid collector. He spent several years collecting pottery and items from the arts and crafts movement. In the last five years, he and his wife Julie spent time restoring the home of William Day Gates. Gates was the founder of the American Terra Cotta Company located in Crystal Lake, Illinois.  When Gates retired in 1925, he constructed a home which he called "Trails End" on property located nearby.

In 2011 Tim and Julie began the restoration of Trails End which had fallen into disrepair to return it to its original glory.  It was Tim's dream to see it to completion.  Alas, it will now be up to Tim's family and friends to see Tim's dream to fruition.  One recent project was to create a wildflower prairie at the entrance of Trails End, visible to the public. In lieu of sending flowers to Tim's family, please consider donating a fund to create a memorial prairie at Trails End.  This prairie will be an everlasting  tribute for Tim and his family.

Thank you so much for helping carry Tim's dream to completion.

Sincerely,
Family & Friends of Tim Pearson
