Memorial for Tim Reed

Hello Everyone,

It is with great sadness that I have to share with you that Tim Reed lost his battle with cancer on August 25th, 2023.

Those of you who know Tim know that he was a person who lived each day to the fullest and that his gentle spirit cared deeply for those in his life. I’m sure each and every one of us, myself most of all, has fond memories of Tim lending us a helping hand, sometimes big, sometimes small but always reflecting his generous and caring nature.

Tim loved to work on cars, see the world, and indulge in large amounts of great food; sometimes all at the same time. Some of you knew, Tim was also an avid gardener; his house is filled with plants that were nurtured and thrived under his care, especially a collection of spicy peppers. For those plants that needed special care, Tim had planned to build a green house so that the peppers that he loved so much would get their chance to thrive.

For this reason I can think of no better way for us to remember Tim than to build that green house that Tim wanted. I’m opening up this Gofundme for donations to that end and any leftover funds will be donated to the Ridley-Tree Cancer Center in Santa Barbara, so that we can take another step in the fight to make sure no one has to go through this again.
