Tim Shea Medical Expenses/Financial Assistance
My entire life I have always been independent and hard working. I’ve never asked for help from anyone, and always supported others in their time of need. Never did I ever expect my life to be in the situation it is today.
In January 2017 I began to experience a medical nightmare that has thrown my life upside down for the last 6 months. Something wasn’t right...I just didn’t feel myself and I started dropping weight without even trying. It wasn’t until I started losing blood did I realize how serious my situation was.
After numerous Doctor visits and ongoing tests, week after week, I went from being diagnosed with possible kidney stones in January to full blown kidney cancer by April. Physically, I had been bleeding inside for months and lost close to 30lbs from the stress and anxiety about my medical condition. Mentally I have been a train wreck and unable to work.
I have tried my best to keep a positive outlook with each passing day, however, my financial situation only continues to worsen. The last 6 months have been a nightmare with all the Doctor visits, hospital stays and tests forcing me to take a leave of absence from my job.
On June 5, 2017 I had major surgery resulting in the removal of my right kidney which was cancerous throughout and could not be salvaged. I am home recuperating now and await results...I am praying to hear everything will be okay but I can only take it one day at a time for now.
Supporting myself over the last 6 months has been tight, my medical bills and deductibles are an added strain to my monthly living expenses and have pushed me over my limits. I am hoping to raise enough funds to help get me back on my feet again.
I respectfully and sincerely thank you in advance for helping me in my time of need. I can assure you that when my health is back on track I will continue to pay forward the generosity that everyone has shown me throughout this difficult time in my life.
I look forward to the months ahead, putting this nightmare behind me, regaining my health and focusing on the future.
