Help Tim Shelley stay afloat while fighting cancer

Hi, my name is Christopher Shelley, I am fundraising for my brother Timothy Shelley ( who lives in Cape Coral Florida). We appreciate you taking the time to learn about his situation. 2023 has been an exceptionally hard year for Tim, and it's only July. Tim started out in January by having a mild heart attack which required a stent placement and a short stay in the hospital. In April, Tim received another shock when he was diagnosed with Colon cancer. Fortunately, the cancer is treatable with the help of chemotherapy and radiation, and surgery by the end of the year. Unfortunately, Tim is fighting with a broken healthcare system but is doing everything he can to try and get healthy.

Tim, from Cape Coral, Southwest Florida, survived a direct hit from Hurricane Ian back in 2022. While he is back on his feet again, working hard at his job, he is stuck in the slow season in SW Florida and the hospitality industry continues to suffer throughout the summer months. This makes life especially challenging for Tim at this time, put together with trying to fund co-pays, hospital bills, tests, and treatments. Tim hopes to continue working for as long and as hard as he can before he must take a break and not be able to work due to the treatments.
