Tim Shirley

This GoFundMe was created to assist my nephew, Tim Shirley. He was diagnosed with one of the rarest forms of multiple sclerosis (Primary Progressive MS) at 28 years old. He has deteriorated very quickly and the treatments, procedures and appointments had to begin before his Disability could be approved. With this being said, Tim and his family did not have time to prepare for what was about to completely change their lives.

Tim has endured many excruciating medical procedures and testing in the short time since being diagnosed in November 2022. Due to the amount of pain in his feet, legs, spine and now vision issues, he has been unable to continue working in construction. He can no longer drive and due to the weakness he experiences, he is now dependent on a walker. Tim was the primary financial provider for his little family of himself, his wife and their amazing 6 year old son. Tim's wife is working limited hours, but her salary is nowhere near what Tim's used to be.

While they do have assistance from family to help with doctors' appointments and physical therapy, his family is in need of assistance to help cover some of their financial needs until his Disability is approved. While immediate family has been able to help with some of the basic financial needs, there are other bills that have had to be put aside, as it's more important to have food on the table and a roof over their heads.

Any and all donations will go toward paying basic everyday needs and for Tim to continue with his medical treatments.
