Timothy Sowala: Support a Dedicated Father and Friend on His Road to Recovery.

My dad, Timothy Sowala, would take me all over with him when I was growing up. We would go to his friends’ houses, to auto parts stores, to the junk yard, and to the grocery store. Every place we went, dad would see at least one person he knew. Everyone was always happy to stop and chat with him. Dad always soaked up all the things’ people would say to him. He is a source of camaraderie for everyone who crosses his path. When someone needs help, he always knows just what to do and is there to do it. Dad is a dependable and generous friend to more people than I could ever count.
Dad has been a loyal diesel mechanic for Peerless Midwest for over 20 years. Being a diesel mechanic is heavy, dirty, unforgiving work. This is work that requires a resourceful and clever mind, and, even at 63, he still does a great job. Dad is also a talented musician and his passion for music is infectious. I love watching him play guitar and the peace that washes over his face. Even now, dad will talk for hours about songs and bands that he loves. I always walk away with a list of music to listen to.
I have always felt so proud standing next to my dad, proud knowing I am his daughter. I know that each one of us could spend days sharing memories we have made because of my dad.
The reason I am creating this GoFundMe is that on October 18th, my dad had a stroke. He is still in the hospital, but soon he will be moved to a stroke rehabilitation center for recovery. As he embarks on the challenging journey of recovery, the financial strain on his family has become increasingly burdensome. With mounting medical bills and the imminent requirement of funds for his upcoming stroke rehabilitation, the Sowala family is in dire need of support. We humbly appeal to your generous hearts and urge you to consider contributing to Timothy Sowala's recovery fund. Your support, whether big or small, will help alleviate the financial strain on his family, allowing them to focus their energy and attention on Timothy's recovery without the added burden of overwhelming expenses.
