Tim Stratioti and Jazz Car accident
Donation protected
On Thursday, September 19th Tim and his dog Jazz were involved in a serious car accident. His injuries are very extensive. These injuries are: all the left side ribs resulting in a punctured/collapsed lung, one rib on the right, broken sternum, left humerus, left wrist, multiple pelvic fractures, all the left side transverse lumbar spine processes, broken sacrum and a comminuted-compound left femur fracture. His brain and spinal cord are fine. Jazz was brought to the animal hospital and he has no broken bones but can not use his back end the vet thinks it’s either a spinal cord/ nerves damage and we and the vet are all hopeful that with time this will heal. Jazz is on pain meds and IV he had to have a cathader to drain his bladder today and currently doesn’t want anything to do with food. He is still in the hospital. This accident happened just doing what Tim and Jazz always did on Tims lunch break taking Jazz to the hiking trails in West Duluth before he had to get back to work when a stolen car at a high rate of speed hit them. In that second both their lives changed. Between the vet bills and the hospital bills and daily living bills these are adding up fast. We are thankful that Tim and Jazz are alive but they both have a long healing road ahead of them. Thank you for you time in reading Tim and Jazz story. Any and all donations make a difference nothing is too small.
