Tim Tank’s Legacy

On January 1, 2024, Tim Tank passed away after his 7 year battle with brain cancer, peacefully in the presence of his loved ones. For those of you that know Tim, know that his life was centered around helping others achieve their dreams. For 10 years he was a high school counselor and coach in the Beaverton School District, where he encouraged, cheered and challenged students to maximize their potential. As a financial advisor, he planned, guided and served countless families as they imagined their futures, with a special focus on college planning. He had the unique gift of walking along others, listening, encouraging and helping them build foundations for their success.

We have the pleasure of watching Andrew and Allison’s dreams and interest unfold over time, and in Tim’s honor, we want to open the doors for them to follow their dreams. Allison shared with Tim that she wants to study medical research and cure cancer. Perhaps she will! Andrew on the other hand has an entrepreneurial side and taken an interest in the stock market. During this season of deep grief, one way we can fortify Tim’s legacy is by building an educational fund that will put feet to Tim’s dream of seeing his children thrive through educational pursuits.

Providing a secure future for his kids through an educational fund was a big value to Tim. Unfortunately, with his passing, he is no longer able to contribute to a college savings fund as he wanted to. In loving memory of our beloved friend, father and husband, we are establishing a fund to continue his lasting legacy, this time with a focus on his two children Andrew and Allison. Instead of flowers and gifts, we kindly ask for contributions towards their college education.

We set a lofty goal to build upon what Tim began, and hope to make a sizable contribution towards Andrew and Allison’s college education. However, any and all donations are welcome and greatly appreciated, so please give as you feel led! The funds will transfer into a professionally managed investment account to be accessed later for educational purposes.
