Tim Tripp Emergency Fund
Donation protected
On Saturday, December 3, Tim suffered an accident while on duty as a part-time firefighter with the city of Minnetonka. Tim is currently in the intensive care unit at Hennepin County Medical Center, fighting a severe head injury. While Tim is healthy and strong, his recovery will take some time; we don't have many answers on the outcome, but there is a long road ahead. Tim is a hard-working, self-employed worker in the construction business, and he will be unable to work for an extended period. During that time, Tim’s fiancé Sheila will need to continue to pay the bills and be with Tim at the hospital. Tim’s three sons live all over the country and need to travel to see and support their dad but will need to periodically return to their schooling or jobs.
Tim is a loving fiancé, proud father, beloved son, and dedicated firefighter who is always helping others while asking nothing in return. Please reach out with a helping hand to support him and his family financially through this very difficult time.
Message from the boys: Our dad is each one of our hero's and there is no way you can ever prepare for something like this to happen. Throughout our lives he has showed an amount of support that could never be repaid. He is truly the most selfless human being we will ever know and people closest to him can relate. He has left an impact on so many across the community in every way imaginable. We will keep you updated on his recovery throughout the process. We don’t have many answers right now. So far there has been several operations to handle the swelling in his brain. Once it starts declining they can bring him out of sedation and get a baseline for his recovery. The timetable is unknown. We ask that you keep our dad in your prayers as he maintains his strength to get through this critical period.
Message from Sheila: When I met Tim five and a half years ago, the first thing I liked about him was his laugh. I didn’t know quite how witty he was until a few dates in. And then it became obvious that this man loves to make people smile, laugh and feel good. He and I have shared many adventures, tons of laughter and endless amounts of love. He cares for his loved ones so intensely. He is a beautiful man with a big heart. This accident is devastating to us all and watching him go through this is incredibly difficult. But what I know is that Tim is a warrior, king of the fight, and he will come out of this a true hero. Every prayer and positive thought for him is heard. He is held in the arms of God.
