Tim (UncleBear) Sanchez needs help.

Please help with medical bills for Tim (UncleBear) Sanchez Because
Necrotizing Fasciitis (aka Flesh Eating Bacteria) almost killed my son.
Hello, this GoFundMe page is being set up to help Tim (UncleBear) Sanchez by his close friends on
behalf of his family. Tim is a caring, loving, and supportive; son, brother, Uncle, and friend. Tim has
always been there to help family members and friends who need help or encouragement. He is quick to
volunteer at his church and to assist with programs or organizations like Operation Christmas Child.
Now it is Tim who is in need of help.

From July 4th to the 7th Tim attended the Anime Expo with his niece Jess,
who was visiting from the east coast. He was getting to do 3 things he really
enjoys; 1. Be the fun/cool Uncle, 2. Experience Japanese culture associated
with the Manga & Anime he likes to follow, 3. Do some cosplay. After bidding
farewell to his niece, Tim headed home. He was pleased with himself for
surviving the Expo after doing so much walking and standing with his niece.
Unfortunately, during the week of July 8th Tim realized all that walking had taken a bigger toll on his
body than he realized. He had developed a heat rash, he tried using over the counter methods to
combat the rash but it was no good, the rash had gotten infected. On July 14th his Mom took him to the
local ER, where he was admitted. They determined his case was so serious; he needed to be transferred
to a trauma ER/Hospital. At the big hospital he was informed that he had contracted Necrotizing
Fasciitis (NF) also known as Flesh Eating Bacteria and was given a 5 day life expectancy if they didn’t
operate on him right away. The infection/NF was getting worse
and had gone sepsis, attacking his internal organs, and he came
very close to dying. Emergency surgery was performed to
remove the dead and infected tissue from his body. After the
surgery he had to be placed in a medically induced coma for 3
days. When brought out of the coma, he experienced a brain
Fog and was disoriented for several weeks, unable to recognize or
respond to family and friends.

“A Mother’s Plea “

It’s mid-November and my son Tim (UncleBear) Sanchez has been lying in a
hospital bed for over 120 days and counting. No matter how old they are no
parent wants to watch their child suffering thru so much pain. We feared we
might lose him to the infection, or the surgery, or to complications from the
medically induced coma. Thankfully he is alive however Thanksgiving is coming
and he is still in the hospital. The recovery process is going very slowly and he
may be lying in his hospital bed for Christmas and into the New Year. It’s hard
for him, how can he not be depressed and discouraged since his life has been turned upside down.

Since he has been in the hospital for 4 months soon to be 6, he’s lost his job, exhausted his savings,
maxed out his credit card (paying his insurance premiums), and come December his disability benefits
will run out. Sadly, he doesn’t qualify for any other government programs. Therefore, this horrible illness
which almost killed him is still tearing apart his life.
The medical bills from the two hospitals, where he was during July & Aug, are piling up. Unable to get
his mail in a timely manner these bills are already past due with threats they will
be sent to collection agencies.
Due to his financial situation he is forced to move out of his apartment. We, his
Mom & Dad, are trying are best to help pack up his belongings and find room for
him to live with us but we are in our 70s and our physical and financial resources
are limited.

Tim needs help, physically, emotionally, spiritually, and financially. We are asking for
help with raising funds to cover medical bills, insurance premiums, to purchase a bed for
him, storage unit cost, credit card bills, and his car payments. Because once he gets
discharged from the hospital, we don’t know how long it will be before he gets a
medical release from his doctor saying he can go back to work. These funds will allow
him to pay his bills until he can find a fulltime job.

Tim’s needs:
We hope you will help us in raising $56,000.00 to help Tim during his time of need.
$10,000.00 – To begin paying the medical bills he has already started to receive.
$2,000.00 – To purchase a bed.
$1,000.00 – To pay for a storage unit.
$7,000.00 – To cover Medical Insurance premiums for 2020.
$8,000.00 – To cover medical bills incurred after the first of the year.
$6,000.00 – To pay off Auto loan.
$22,000.00 – To pay off maxed out credit card, which has been used to pay medical insurance
premiums.
We have one last request can you please add Tim to your daily prayers. That his faith in God will
continue to grow stronger during these tough times, for the physical healing of his surgical wound, along
with the emotional and psychological healing processes.
We hope and ask that you will share this GoFundMe page with your family and friends.
Thank you for any help you can give it is greatly appreciated.
God Bless!
