Tim Walton

As many of you know, on August 27th, 2023, at age 65, Tim Walton lost his battle to cancer.

Tim was a devoted father to Ian, his son, Ashlee (his daughter-in-law) and his precious granddaughter Olivia, who he adored.

Timmy's love and passion for the game brought joy to many in the Miami Valley as a leader in the field of instruction. Tim taught hundreds of people in the Miami Valley the basics of the game.

A 37-year PGA Member, he shared his knowledge, wisdom and skill at many clubs throughout the area including NCR Country Club, Pin High Driving Range, Community Golf Course, Rollandia Golf Center and most recently as Assistant Golf Professional at Walnut Grove Country Club. Tim was an incredibly accomplished and competitive player, competing in the 2010 and 2011 Senior US Open, in addition he played in 9 PGA National Club Pro Championships while always remaining a gentleman and friend to all he met on the course.

The Celebration of Life will be held on October 14, 2023 from 5pm-8pm at Walnut Grove Country Club.
