Time After Time: Bridging The Gap
Donation protected
Time After Time: Bridging the Gap needs your generous support.
The Rekai Centres Long Term Care Homes is hosting an intergenerational/seniors social event in collaboration with various organizations and community groups that share an interest and commitment to expanding and promoting positive programs and services for 50+, 2 Spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer and intersex (2SLGBTQI+) people in the City of Toronto.
The event details:
Date: Saturday, June 8th from 2:00 - 5:00 PM
Location: The Rekai Centres, 160 Wellesley Street East
Community Partners: Buddies In Bad Times Theatre: Youth/Elders Project, Women's Health In Women's Hands CHC and The 519.
This is the first senior/ intergenerational 2SLGBTQI+ pride event hosted by a long term care home in Toronto. This is a unique and historical opportunity for community members to celebrate the lives and accomplishments of older 2SLGBTQI+ people and the chance to share knowledge and skills, as well as build new social networks and connections.
We are hoping that you will be able to support our event in the form of a donation of cash, goods, services, or gift certificates.
The cash will be used for funding the event (costs for food, entertainment, etc) and for door prizes. In return for your donation, we offer to publicize your business at the event.
Thank you for your time and consideration. If you have any questions regarding this event, please do not hesitate to contact us.
With gratitude and appreciation,
LeZlie Lee Kam & Vanessa Dunn
