Timeless Imbue & Mongo’s Coffee Pop Up Fundraiser

Tax deductible
As most of you have seen or experienced in the past couple years, we’ve partnered up with Mongos Coffee in Syosset to throw some really incredible pop up events. This fall pop up will be out 7th weekend event at Mongos since 2021.

My lifelong friend Jake Margulis, is the owner of Mongo’s, along with his father Mitch. Each time we partner up to throw an event, there’s always discussion on which dates would work best. When the idea of October 7th & 8th was brought up, I was hesitant. October 7th will be the 17th year anniversary of my fathers passing. Obviously being a tough date, it wasn’t a weekend that I was so interested in hosting an event. But, after rethinking it, I knew there was an opportunity to turn a negative day into a positive celebration.

Jake and I reached out to another good friend of ours Tommy Covelli, who’s family runs the Pat Covelli Foundation. The foundation has been raising funds for several years, in honor of Tommy’s uncle Pat. PCF has always donated 100% of the funds raised to various organizations and charities.

Between the three of us, we decided that we would raise donations this fall pop up to the Lustgarten Foundation. A local foundation based out of Woodbury, New York, the Lustgarten Foundation donates 100% of their donation funds to pancreatic cancer research.

Mongo’s Coffee & Timeless Imbue will be donating 5 baskets to raise donations that will directly be donated to the Lustgarten foundation. Some of the baskets will include variety bags of Mongo’s Coffee, $250 Timeless imbue pop up credit, and 3 original vintage Grateful Dead t shirts.

Tickets will be $5 a piece, and of course you can buy as many as you’d like. All the tickets will go into one box, that we’ll select from on Instagram Live, Monday night after the event. If your ticket gets pulled you’ll win one of the 5 prize baskets.

All online donations will receive tickets to the prize boxes as well.

Each time we throw an event, Mongo’s and I look for how to improve and create the best experience possible. We’re extremely excited to be able to create a positive impact on the local community, and all those impacted by cancer. There’s no set goal on what we’d like to raise, any donation is a well appreciated one. If you’re not in the position to donate, it’s free to spread around the word. All the help counts!
