Your donation will go towards Mr. Zheng so he may focus on a strong recovery as he is currently in and out of the hospital.

Mr. Zheng told me he immigrated here just 2 months ago at 53 years old. He wanted to come here to work and make some money because the pandemic affected his living situation back home. Unfortunately, after he arrived, he fell ill and was hospitalized and diagnosed with a major blood disease. I’m not too familiar but it translated into bone marrow hematopoietic dysfunction. He showed me the tubes in his arm and explained that he couldn’t do any heavy labor at the moment. Right now he’s just setting up this small stall on the subway floor to meet some of his daily expenses.
