#TimesUp Comcast - Support the 6
Donation protected
The TimesUp Comcast Leadership Committee consists of 6 brave women across the US, from Colorado to Tennessee to Washington DC, who have experienced sexual harassment while working at Comcast. We have currently been organizing monthly calls to support each other emotionally and recommend resources. Now, we want to be able to come together to meet face to face so that we can truly fight as one unit. We want to be able to show each other the tactics that we’ve been using in our local communities, such as setting up meetings with nonprofit agencies and local officials, to fight sexual harassment in the workplace. Ultimately, we want to create safe reporting to Human Resources (HR), change policies & legislation around sexual harassment, and provide support to people who experience sexual harassment in the workplace.
Despite the fact that we’ve been doing our monthly calls, each lady still can feel very alone in this fight against sexual harassment. By coming together, we will be able to empower one another and share expertise so that each person can become strong leaders in her local community. #timesup #metoo #timesupcomcast
