Timmy Nichols

I'm Claire Nichols and devastated to be creating this right before the holidays, but just this past week, we had a sudden loss. My husband's little brother Tim passed away unexpectedly.

As Tim's sister-in-law (and sometimes partner-in-crime), I got to know him in a different way. He shared a lot with me about his past and what he wanted out of life but also how much gratitude he had for people. I personally have Tim to thank for showing me strength and power in myself I didn't think I had. He helped me dig down deep and find the doggedness I had lost somewhere along the way. He was always willing to help me help others, no matter where he was at in his life, he would drop everything if I asked him to.

Tim was honestly one of a kind. He loved to hunt and fish and was great at most sports, especially soccer. He loved soccer so much and that's something he was happy to see he bestowed in his son. He played the trombone and loved listening to music, I still have his phone bluetoothed in my car (even though we didn't agree on the vibe of the day) because he loved my speakers. He loved to make others laugh and could brighten any room with his charm and quick wit. He loved animals and animals loved him, our Bella would always get so excited when Tim was around. You could often find them cuddled up together on the couch. He also loved his dog and side kick, Izzy. She went everywhere with him, often in the pouch of his oversized hoodie.

Family meant everything to Tim and he was one of his grandmother Natalie's caretakers at home. Natalie helped raise both Tim and my husband Josh from a very young age so as she aged, Tim gave it his all to show his appreciation back to her. We are asking for your help to give a proper burial and show the family the support they need during this difficult time.

We are all super grateful for the love, support, and hugs we've gotten already while trying to figure this all out. Any funds raised will go towards not only a burial for Tim but the remaining balance will help support Natalie and Tim's children as they work to live on without him. Tim would want to be sure Natalie and his kids are taken care of, so I want to do what I can to help so we can honor the love he gave us.
