Timmy's Team 2021 for DDI

Timmy's Team is back and we hope you will return too!

Marathons were among the many things that were cancelled in 2020. Many are now returning so its time to run - and fundraise for DDI. Non-profits took a beating last year with reduced contributions and cancellations of most fundraising events. At DDI, our funding decreased at the same time our costs went up as we invested in the safety of our employees and the people we care for. I can say our because I am a long serving member of the Board of Directors. DDI needs your support!

On November 21, I will be running the Philadelphia Marathon and hope you will support me and DDI by joining Timmy's Team with a pledge. Besides putting in the many hours and miles to prepare for Philly, I will match every dollar pledged. I'm hoping that together we can raise $10,000 and add to the more than $120,000 we have raised since 2014.

I chose Philadelphia because my oldest daughter Emily moved there to start her professional career. The route literally runs right beneath her window! It's also later in the year which means it won't be hot but it may snow or sleet. I choose to continue to run marathons, this will be my 8th, as a tribute to my son, Timmy and all those who need to work a little harder than the rest of us.
