Timothy Boyle Cancer Treatment Fund

Hi my name is Tim and I am raising money for my cancer treatment at the Hope 4 Cancer clinic in Mexico. I was diagnosed last November with oral/esophageal cancer. I have already had three surgeries to remove pre-cancerous tumours from the underside of my tongue, but a fourth tumour came out of nowhere around last year and has impaired my ability to speak and eat.

I felt I had no choice but to refuse the archaic standard of care that was prescribed from my surgeon in Ontario, which was to remove my tongue, scorch my esophagus with radiation and chemo, probably permanently impairing my ability to speak, taste and sing forever and forcing me to eat through a feeding tube.

As an entertainer, who has spent my life refining and nurturing my voice for my career, I refused to have those prescribed procedures from my surgeon; so I have sought out alternative, non invasive therapies to eradicate my cancer. Unfortunately, these are extremely expensive and not covered by any health insurance or OHIP, costing me roughly $70,000 CAD not including travel.

My dream of sharing my story through smooth soulful jazz, free of cancer, eager to return to my performance family and all of my friends.
